Project Essential

We strive to promote excellence in education while at the same time build self-respect, personal integrity and character for our students. St. James School utilizes Project Essential, developed by the Teel Institute. Project Essential is a school-wide curriculum and philosophy. The curriculum has key components that give students strategies and skills—making a positive impact on student behavior. Valued character traits of the program are self-control, responsibility, and respect for others. Among the principles are the ABC’s of Correcting Errors—Admit our errors; Be willing to accept the consequences; Correct the Error; Do remember the Correction.
